Prof. Dr. Md. Atiqur Rahman is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur, Bangladesh. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical, Electronic and Systems Engineering from UKM, Malaysia, where his research focused on sol–gel–synthesized ferrite nanoparticle–based flexible materials for microwave applications. His academic background also includes a Master’s degree in Space Science from UKM and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from DUET, graduating First Class First with the President’s Gold Medal. With extensive experience in teaching and research, Prof. Rahman specializes in flexible materials–based antennas, metamaterials, and microwave substrate design, with current work emphasizing 5G wireless communication technologies. He has supervised numerous research projects and has published widely in high-impact Q1 journals on metamaterials, ferrite-based composites, and flexible microwave devices. His technical expertise spans CST, HFSS, MATLAB, and various electronics design and programming tools.
